Key inclusion criteria
Clinical findings show no abnormalities in jaw movement.
No abnormalities in jaw movement on clinical examination.
No abnormality in temporomandibular joint and masticatory muscle group
No significant anterior-posterior discordance in the upper and lower jaw bones and a normal capsule.
No defects other than third molars, and the amount of plexus must be less than -2.5mm.
Key exclusion criteria
Those with congenital diseases with maxillofacial malformations
Patients with severe caries with crown collapse
Patients with congenital defects of permanent teeth
Patients with a history of surgical treatment for nasopharyngeal diseases
Patients with a history of surgical treatment for tongue disorders (e.g., ankylosis of the lingual frenulum)
Patients with abnormal adhesion of the lingual pedicel
Patients with vomiting reflex
