Dynamic stress computed tomography (CT) perfusion is a non-invasive technique for quantifying myocardial ischemia by measuring myocardial blood flow (MBF). Nevertheless, this approach is not widely employed in clinical settings. Our study aims to validate the utility of CT-MBF through a meta-analysis.
We systematically searched PubMed, Embase, and Web of Science databases for published studies evaluating the accuracy of CT-MPI in diagnosing ischemia, which were included in our analysis. The accuracy of CT-MBF in detecting ischemia determined by coronary angiography (CAG) or fractional flow reserve (FFR) was evaluated using summary receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves.
