NO
To investigate the effects of broccoli sprout intake on lipid metabolism, inflammation, and oxidation during exercise in healthy subjects.
Others
Participants consume either broccoli sprouts or a placebo daily (20 g) for a period of one month. Subsequently, an incremental exercise test is administered at an intensity ranging from 30 to 80% of the maximum volume of oxygen uptake (VO2 max). Throughout the exercise, the subjective intensity of physical activity is recorded at regular intervals. Furthermore, blood and urine samples are collected before and after the exercise. These biological samples are employed to measure inflammation, oxidative stress, biochemical markers, and similar indicators.
