Results

Poster presentation at Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Sleep Research (2021).

acupressure and sham treatments significantly decreased heart rate and significantly increased parasympathetic activity . Although there was no significant difference two treatments, a post hoc test revealed that sympathetic activity was significantly reduced after acupressure in subjects who were aware of periodic limb movements at night.
