Parent training will be provided through home visits. There are two modules, one to increase positive parent-child interaction skills and the other to remove indoor hazards to prevent unintentional injuries, each with approximately six visits. Home visits are conducted once a week for one hour by a trained home visitor.

Among families whose children have been received out-of-home care in children's homes in Fukuoka City and families who have been identified by the child-rearing support department at city hall as having a large child-rearing burden and needing support for building parent-child relationships (including families who have used administrative services such as respite care), the multidisciplinary professionals will select families for the program at the meeting, and the main caregivers of those families who give their consent will be eligible for the program.
Families with urgent issues (e.g., families in need of immediate psychiatric treatment due to suicide attempts, families in need of protection due to domestic violence, etc.) and families without a stable living environment (families that need to secure food and clothing first) are not eligible.
