Key inclusion criteria We retrospectively analyzed consecutive patients with persistent AF who were referred to Toyama Prefectural Central Hospital in Japan between May 2018 and April 2020 for their first ablation procedure.
Key exclusion criteria We excluded patients with a cardiac-implanted electronic device (CIED) at baseline.
