This study is a systematic review and meta-analysis. We follow the recommendations of the PRISMA (preferred reporting items for systematic review and meta-analysis) and Cochrane Handbook for Systematic Reviews of Diagnostic Test Accuracy Version 2.
We will conduct a search in MEDLINE, Embase, Web of Science, The Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials, the Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews, the Clinicaltrial.gov, the European Union Clinical Trials Register (EU-CTR), the WHO International Clinical Trials Registry Platform (ICTRP), and the University Hospital Medical Information Network Clinical Trials Registry (UMIN).
Two authors will independently scan and select eligible studies and perform data extraction and assessment of the risk of bias.
Current protocol was submitted to PROSPERO on 24/09/2022. We are going to publish a protocol paper detailing our research plan.

The protcol has been published (DOI:10.1136/bmjopen-2022-069309).
