To compare the short-term effects on participation motivation, anxiety, and depressive symptoms between a group of individuals with subacute stroke who actively selected, from among the goals proposed by physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech-language-hearing therapists, those with the highest priority, and a group who agreed to the goals proposed by the therapists.
