This study aims to clarify the effects of seascapes viewed from high-rise buildings using physiological and psychological indicators in female undergraduate and graduate students, comparing them with window blinds.

Seascape viewing significantly increased the left right difference (LRD) in oxy-Hb concentrations, indicating left-dominant prefrontal activation relative to the control. It also increased comfort and relaxation and improved mood states. Correlation analyses showed that LRD was positively correlated with comfort and relaxation.
