We will compare the acute effects of pulmonary vein isolation and the occurence of complications by dividing patients into two groups: a low group and a high group according to the target value of the Ablation Index during pulmonary vein isolation for atrial fibrillation.
Safety,Efficacy
Acute effects of extended encircling pulmonary vein isolation by high Ablation Index (presence of first-pass pulmonary vein isolation, presence of reconduction after waiting, presence of dormant conduction by ATP administration)
Assessment of safety of high Ablation Index (complications, procedure time, fluoroscopy time)

<High Ablation Index Group>
The left pulmonary vein is ablated with an Ablation Index of 550-600 from the anterior wall of the left superior pulmonary vein, 600-650 from the anterior wall of the left carina, 400 from the anterior wall of the left inferior pulmonary vein to the posterior wall, 500-600 from the posterior wall of the left pulmonary vein, and 400-450 on the esophagus. (When the esophageal thermometer reaches 40 degree, the ablation is terminated even if the Ablation Index does not reach 400.) The right pulmonary vein is ablated with an Ablation Index 600-650 from the anterior wall to bottom of the right inferior pulmonary vein, 600 from the anterior wall to top of the right superior pulmonary vein, and 550-600 for the posterior wall of the right pulmonary vein.
<Low Ablation Index group>
The left pulmonary vein is ablated with an Ablation Index of 550 for the anterior wall of the carina, and 400 from the anterior wall of the left inferior pulmonary vein to the posterior wall. (When the esophageal thermometer reaches 40 degree, the ablation is terminated even if the Ablation Index does not reach 400.) The right pulmonary vein is ablated with an Ablation Index of 550 for the anterior wall and 400 from the bottom to the posterior wall.
