Linked-color imaging (LCI) is a new endoscopy system that enhances the color differences of the gastrointestinal mucosa. The aim of this study is to investigate the efficacy of LCI in the evaluation of intestinal activity and prediction of relapse in UC.

Key inclusion criteria
age: from 16 to 80
The patients diagnosed as UC and treated at Nippon Medical School Tamanagayama Hospital and who underwent colonoscopy.
Key exclusion criteria
Patients with severe ulcerative colitis, poor general condition, patients without informed consent, pregnant patients were excluded from the present study.
