Others
NO
1. To validate two predictive models which we developed for falls and fall injury among inpatients, and develop a system for practical use.
2. To evaluate the criterion-related validity of Bedriddenness Rank with other established objective scales of ADLs, and Cognitive Function Score with those of cognitive impairment.
3. To validate two predictive models which we developed for falls and fall injury among inpatients in each facility and each type of medical facility.
Others
The discrimination of tow models are evaluated by AUC and Calibration coefficient. Criterion-related validity are evaluated by Spearman's correlation coefficient.

The following information will be collected from electronic medical records and incident reports for all inpatients aged 20 years and older admitted to the study sites during the target period.
At the time of the fall: location of the fall, date and time of the fall, reason for the fall, implemented fall prevention procedures, antipsychotic medication, Bedriddenness ranks and cognitive function scores at the time of the fall, incident/accident
On admission: ADL, Barthel Index, Bedriddenness ranks, Cognitive function scores, age, sex, emergency admission, admitted department, previous history of falls, use of hypnotic medication, ambulance transportation, referral letter, long-term care classification, disturbance of consciousness, BMI, self-management of medication, cataracts, glaucoma, paralysis due to stroke, lower extremity weakness, antipsychotic medicines, visual impairment, previous history of Parkinson's disease/syndrome, diabetes mellitus, dysphagia, use of walking assist devices, implemented fall prevention procedures on admission
At hospital discharge: date of admission, date of discharge, primary disease for admission, presence of falls during hospitalization, surgical operations performed during hospitalization, rehabilitation performed during hospitalization, outcome
