Others
NO
To investigate whether changes of intraoperative right ventricular function were related with cardiac surgery-associated acute kidney injury (CSA-AKI).
Others
To investigate which is the most related to renal function after cardiac surgery in right ventricular parameters.
Exploratory

Not applicable
Serum creatinine values at preoperative and postoperative period
Cardiac catheterization, and echocardiographic right ventricular (RV) and left ventricular function parameters were measured simultaneously before and after CPB.

From August 2019 to the end of August 2020, we will continuously target patients who are scheduled to undergo the first open heart surgery under cardiopulmonary bypass or cardiac arrest at our facility.
Preoperative exclusion criteria
1) Moderate or severe tricuspid regurgitation / Right heart surgery
2) On beating surgery
3) Scheduled intraoperative assisted circulation use (VA-ECMO, IABP, LVAD)
4) Pacemaker
5) Chronic atrial fibrillation
6) Complication of left-right short-circuit disease
7) Abnormal regional wall motion
8) Contraindications for 3DE and PAC (pulmonary artery catheter) insertion
Intraoperative exclusion criteria
1) Use of pacemaker due to sinus node syndrome, atrioventricular block during surgery,
2) Atrial fibrillation during surgery
3) Addition of tricuspid valve surgery, change to surgery on beating, off-pump surgery
4) Use of auxiliary circulation after withdrawal from the heart-lung machine
5) Cannot be monitored by three-dimensional transesophageal echocardiography or pulmonary artery catheter
