Narrative objectives1 The purpose of this study is to evaluate the digestive and absorptive capacity of post-gastrectomy patients using a non-invasive test of 13C intake and expiratory collection and analysis.

Primary outcomes Comparison of digestive and absorptive capacity by 13C breath test from preoperative to 1, 3, 6, and 12 months postoperatively
Key secondary outcomes Assessment of postoperative nutritional status (blood test results, body weight, body fat and muscle mass measurements), recurrence-free survival, and overall survival

Key inclusion criteria 1. Disease group
Disease name : gastric tumor (including esophagogastric junction tumor)
Stage : Stage does not matter
Gender : no limitation
Age : 20 years or older (at the time of registration)

2. Healthy control group
Gender : 10 males and 10 females each
Age : 40-70 years (at the time of enrollment)
Those who have obtained consent for participation in this study by signing a consent.
Key exclusion criteria 1. Disease group
Patients with severe diabetes or metabolic disease.
Those with gastric stenosis or intestinal obstruction.
Those who have refused to participate in the study.
Pregnant or lactating women.

2.Healthy control group
Those with diabetes or serious underlying diseases
Those with a history of stomach or intestinal surgery (excluding appendicitis and cholelithiasis).
Those who have refused to participate in the study.
Those who are pregnant or lactating.
Target sample size 120
