Results

Many participants were aware of mental health care schemes in their daily work. There were also many complaints about health centers and psychiatrists. These were thought to stem from differences in the structure of their respective organizations, lack of resources, and gaps in communication. Many participants felt that there were few opportunities to learn about mental health.

In this study, we will conduct an anonymous questionnaire survey to police officers engaged in dealing with patients with mental disorder to gather the opinions regarding administrative involuntary hospitalization scheme and cooperation with relevant facilities.
