Key inclusion criteria Urgently hospitalized due to acutely decompensated heart failure in a single cardiovascular center between July 2013 and November 2017.
Key exclusion criteria 1.Patients who died in hospital.
2.Patients with regular hemodialysis.
3.Patients without full echocardiography data.

Other related information Non-invasive and easy classification of acute heart failure patients by maximum IVC size and collapse may predict cardiovascular mortality after the discharge in HFrEF and HFpEF; while, it failed in hospitalization due to heart failure of HFrEF patients.
