Measurement of handgrip strength was carried out using a Jamar dynamometer. Body composition, including skeletal muscle and adipose tissue, was estimated using computed tomography imaging. Sex-stratified multivariate analysis was carried out to identify the predictors of mortality in cirrhotic patients.
