The purpose of this study is to aim for the development of a system that evaluates motor learning by muscle synergy analysis of stroke patients and provides appropriate rehabilitation.

Intervention and assessment are performed using Synergy-01.
The frequency of the interventions for inpatients is four times in total at two weeks intervals.
Inpatients are intervened on the same day as the evaluation.

Muscle synergy feedback with Synergy01 may be safe and effective.

The average age of all subjects was 73 years old, 51% male, and the primary disease was infarction in 63%, hemorrhage in 37%, and the affected side was right side in 44% and left side in 56%.
Forty-three patients participated in the study, they allocated 21 in synergy group and 22 in control group. Four patients in each group dropped out due to early discharge from the hospital. Finally, 17 patients in synergy group and 18 patients in control group were included in the analysis.
No serious adverse events or TRDs occurred during the study period.
Primary endpoint
Synergy group: FMA 31.6 to 37.8 (p<0.001)
Control group: FMA 32.0 to 35.5 (p=0.018)
Comparison of FMA change between the two groups: 6.2 vs 3.5 (p=0.028)
As a result of comparing the amount of change in FMA, there was statistically significant difference between the two groups. His primary endpoint, his FMA, showed superiority of Synergy01.
