The purpose of this study is to determine whether the short term, isometric exercise of musticatory muscle with maximum occlusal power is also effective for elders like young adults.

Experimental subjects are asked to
clench on the splint for 10 sec, five times a day for 4 weeks.

full or partial edentulous elders who are older than 65
Key exclusion criteria
The subjects selected were generally healthy, with no temporomandibular joint (TMJ) problem
