Intravenous anesthetic drugs are varied for populations so that the blood concentrations to get loss of consciousness are varied. Because TCI sysytems approved in Japan are based on European physical attributes and only body weight was a covariate, there are many cares of delayed emergence from anesthesia or longer time than excepted to get loss of consciousness in patients with obese or aged.
In this study, we administrated these drugs for patients undergoing surgery. We collected blood samples, measured blood concentrations of these drugs. We created new PK/PD
model for these drugs by considering published data. So that we can develop new TCI system for maintenance of anesthesia safely and getting good awakeness.
Pharmacokinetics
Creating new PK/PD model for intravenous anaesthetic drugs.
Evaluation of serum concentration with pharmacokinetic/phamacodynamic model which was already published by calculating MDPE/MDAPE.

After induction of general anesthesia by using intravenous drugs, blood samples are collected frequently, serum concentrations of anesthetic durgs are mesured by by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC).
