Before and after 3, 6 and 9 months from topical application of hair scalp lotion, S100A3 contents, its citrullination, cuticle occupancy and hair elasticity are measured, and evaluated hair damage preventive effect of the lotion.

Promotion of S100A3 citrullination, and maintainance of S100A3 contents, cuticle occupancy and hair elasticity of the test lotion group compared to the control group, before and after 3, 6 and 9 months from the topical application.

Test lotion on one side of scalp skin and placebo lotion on another side (2mL per each time) are applied two times per a day for six months. Up to 3 months later, the evaluation test continues.

Key inclusion criteria
-Healthy male and female with standard hair length at temporal regions of head (6cm or more).
-Subject who does not use of products such as a hair restorer, a scalp lotion, and chemical treatment of hair during study duration
-Subject who can record chemical treatments and cuts of hair.
Key exclusion criteria
-Subjects under going to hospital regularly or medication
-Subjects with atopic dermatitis, eczema and pollen allergy or with certain abnormalities in a scalp
-Subjects with advanced hair loss.
-Subject who experienced a certain skin abnormalities or sensitive to a stimulus of the epilation in the past scalp lotion test.
-Subject who is applied or planning non-symmetric hair chemical treatments.
