The aim of this study is to assess the utility of protein marker levels for detection of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma using duodenal juice.

After positioning the side-view endoscope in the second portion of the duodenum at the time of endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography, duodenal juice was collected for 5 minutes using PR-130Q catheter. Duodenal juice was aspirated using 20mL syringes; no protease inhibitor is added in the initial syringe and one protease inhibitor is added in the following another syringe. The sample is immediately put into 2mL-tube and stored at -80degrees.

1) Aged 20 or more year-old
2) Patients who undergo ERP and pancreatic juice cytology for their pancreatic diseases
3) Written informed consent
1) Patients who have a history of severe complications due to ERP
2) Patients who have a history of complications due to secretin
3) Not written informed consent
4) Patients who the doctor-in-charge figures unsuitable for this study
