Narrative objectives1
Thoracic paravertebral block using micro convex probe has been introduced as useful approach for more midline shifted needle insertion. But poor resolution sometimes prevents the needle visiblity, and it might causes accidental complications like pleural puncture. In this study, we use preoperative chest computed tomography to estimate the length of needle insertion and investigated correlation with actual needle length and its safety.
