Narrative objectives1
To improve the quality of the in-hospital emergency system by evaluating the quality of resuscitation for cardiac arrest patients objectively.
It is also useful as an objective assessment of the RRS, which was introduced.

Primary outcomes
The primary endpoint was a favorable
neurological outcome at 1 month after cardiac arrest defined according to CPC1 or 2.
Key secondary outcomes
The secondary outcome was return of spontaneous circulation (ROSC), the 24-h outcome and mortality at 30 days.

Key inclusion criteria
All victims (adult, pediatric and neonatal) of in-hospital cardiac arrest that required chest compression or electrical defibrillation, or both are enrolled.
Key exclusion criteria
Patients who have not had an attempt at resuscitation are excluded.
