To examine the effects of physical exercise on cognitive decline in elderly with mild cognitive impairment.
Efficacy
Cognitive function: Wechsler Memory Scale-Revised Logical Memory , Rey Auditory Verbal Learning Test, word list memory
Cognitive function: Digit span, modified digit symbol substitution test, verbal fluency, modified trail making test, flanker test, backward counting
Brain volumetry: MRI
Brain function: FDG PET and fNIRS
Physical function: muscle strength, gait analysis, six minutes walk, balance control
Activity: Tokyo Metropolitan Institute of Gerontology Index of Competence, Life-space assessment, Physical Activity Scale for the Elderly, pedometer
Health related characteristics: apathy, pain, fall, QOL, Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index, fall efficacy scale, gait efficacy scale, social activity

Male and Female
1) Elderly people, aged 65 over and living in Obu city, having health check from Aug in 2011 to Feb in 2012.
2) Fullfilled Peterson's criteria (a: cognitive function is 1.5 SD or more below the normative values; b: score of more than 24 on the Mini-Mental State Examination; c: not diagnosed dementia; d: being independent in activity of daily living; e: having a complain of subjective memory problem)
3) Being agreed with participation in the study
1) Having serious or unstable illnesses
2) History of psychiatric disease
3) Receiving of anti-Alzheimer drugs
4) Geriatrics Depression Scale > 5
5) Needing long-term care
