選択基準/Key inclusion criteria

日本語
北里大学病院で潰瘍性大腸炎の診断・治療を受けた18歳以上の患者のうち、下部消化管内視鏡検査を受ける者。

英語
Patients aged 18 years or older who were diagnosed with and treated for ulcerative colitis at Kitasato University Hospital and underwent colonoscopy.

除外基準/Key exclusion criteria

日本語
・すでに潰瘍性大腸炎に対して外科切除が施行されている、または予定されている者
・直腸炎型潰瘍性大腸炎の者
・長期のフォローアップを受けられない者
・妊娠中、授乳中の者
・同意が得られない者

単施設前向き縦断研究。通常診療の下部消化管内視鏡検査時に、研究用の大腸粘膜生検を追加採取する。腸管ムチンの糖鎖発現は北里大学医療衛生学部病態生化学研究室で解析する。内視鏡検査後108週間まで、臨床的重症度、治療内容、血液検査、内視鏡所見、病理所見を診療記録から収集する。

Single-center, prospective longitudinal study. Additional colonic mucosal biopsies for research are obtained during colonoscopy performed as part of routine clinical care. Mucin glycan expression in the intestinal mucosa is analyzed at the Department of Pathophysiological Biochemistry, Kitasato University School of Allied Health Sciences. Clinical severity, treatment, blood test results, endoscopic findings, and histological findings are collected from medical records for up to 108 weeks after colonoscopy.
