認知症の人の家族介護者を対象として、体験型学習プログラム「認知症世界の歩き方」ワークショップへの参加前後に、認知症の人の主観的体験や行動の背景に対する理解・認識がどのように変化するかを探索的に検討する。また、家族介護者の否定的感情や態度を含む心理的負担の一側面、および状態不安の短期的な変化を副次的に検討する。

This exploratory pilot study will examine short-term changes in family caregivers' understanding and perceptions of the subjective experiences and behavioral contexts of people with dementia before and after participation in the "Ninchisho Sekai no Arukikata" experiential workshop. Secondary exploratory objectives are to examine changes in a specific aspect of caregiver burden, including negative feelings and attitudes, and in state anxiety.

主要アウトカム評価項目/Primary outcomes

ワークショップ実施直前と直後における、認知症の人の視点・行動背景に対する理解および認知症の人への見方の変化。ワークショップ内容に基づく独自の5件法の以下6項目について、各項目の前後の回答分布と変化を個別に記述的・探索的に評価する。①認知症の人の気持ちを想像できる、②認知症の人の立場で考えることができる、③認知症の人の行動には理由があると思う、④BPSDを「困った行動」だけでなく本人なりの表現として考えることができる、⑤認知症の人を一人の生活者として捉えることができる、⑥認知症の人が生活しやすい環境や支援方法を考えることができる。各項目は1～5点で回答する。

Changes from immediately before to immediately after the workshop in caregivers' understanding of the perspectives and behavioral contexts of people with dementia and in their perceptions of people with dementia. Six study-specific items are rated on a five-point scale (1-5), assessing the ability to (1) imagine how the person feels, (2) consider the person's perspective, (3) recognize reasons underlying behavior, (4) interpret behavioral and psychological symptoms of dementia as expressions rather than merely problematic behavior, (5) regard the person as an individual living their own life, and (6) consider supportive environments and care approaches. The response distribution and pre-post change for each item will be examined descriptively and exploratorily.

認知症の人の家族介護者に「認知症世界の歩き方」を用いた約90分の体験型ワークショップを実施する。内容は、導入10分、動画教材による学習25分、44の心身機能障害カードを用いたグループワーク35分、全体ディスカッション15分、振り返り5分とする。既存のプログラムを基に、認知症の人の主観的体験、行動の背景、生活を支援する対応方法について学び、意見交換する。2026年10月31日および12月5日の計2日程を予定し、各対象者についてワークショップ実施直前と直後に質問紙調査を行う。

Family caregivers will participate in an approximately 90-minute experiential workshop based on "Ninchisho Sekai no Arukikata." The program comprises a 10-minute introduction, 25 minutes of video-based learning, 35 minutes of group work using 44 cards describing impairments of mental and physical functions, 15 minutes of group discussion, and a 5-minute reflection. It addresses subjective experiences and behavioral contexts of people with dementia and supportive approaches to daily life. Workshops are scheduled on October 31 and December 5, 2026. Participants will complete questionnaires immediately before and after their workshop.

選択基準/Key inclusion criteria

①同意取得時の年齢が18歳以上である者、②家族または近親者が認知症と診断されている者、③認知症の人の介護を実際に担っている家族介護者、④ワークショップへの参加が可能な者、⑤研究参加について文書による同意が得られた者。

(1) Age 18 years or older at consent; (2) has a family member or close relative diagnosed with dementia; (3) actually provides care for the person with dementia; (4) is able to participate in the workshop; and (5) provides written informed consent.

除外基準/Key exclusion criteria

①認知症の人の家族介護者に該当しない者、②ワークショップへの参加が困難である者、③その他、研究責任者または研究分担者が不適当と判断した者。
