目的1/Narrative objectives1

日本語
健康成人、涙液層破壊時間（TFBUT）短縮を認めるドライアイの自覚症状を有さない者（TFBUT短縮者）、およびドライアイ患者を対象に、角膜知覚神経形態、角膜知覚・痛覚、TFBUTおよびその他のドライアイに関連する自他覚所見を横断的に評価し、ドライアイの病態進行における角膜知覚神経形態変化の特徴並びに角膜知覚・痛覚への影響を探索的に明らかにする。

The purpose of this cross-sectional study is to evaluate corneal sensory nerve morphology, corneal sensation and pain, tear film break-up time (TFBUT), and other subjective and objective findings related to dry eye disease in three populations: healthy adults, asymptomatic individuals with shortened TFBUT (TFBUT-shortened subjects), and patients diagnosed with dry eye disease.
Through comparative assessment across these groups, the study aims to exploratorily identify characteristic morphological changes in corneal sensory nerves associated with the progression of dry eye disease and to clarify the influence of these morphological changes on corneal sensory function and pain perception.

ドライアイ以外の眼表面疾患または角膜知覚・痛覚、ならびに神経形態評価に影響する眼疾患の合併または既往を有する者
角膜手術、白内障手術、レーシック、角膜移植術等の既往を有する者
糖尿病やその他神経に影響を及ぼす全身疾患の合併または既往を有する者
その他研究責任者または研究分担者が不適当と判断した場合

Subjects with comorbid or past ocular diseases other than dry eye that affect the ocular surface, corneal sensation/pain, or nerve morphology evaluation
Subjects with a history of corneal surgery, cataract surgery, LASIK, corneal transplantation, or other ocular surgeries
Subjects with comorbid or past diabetes mellitus or other systemic diseases affecting the nervous system
Subjects who are otherwise judged inappropriate for participation by the principal investigator or sub-investigator
