本研究の目的は、薬剤関連顎骨壊死（medication-related osteonecrosis of the jaw: MRONJ）患者を対象として、治療前のCT画像所見と治療後の経過との関連を後方視的に検討することである。MRONJの新たな質的分類法を提案するための基礎データを収集することを目的とする。

The purpose of this study is to retrospectively investigate the association between pre-treatment CT imaging findings and treatment outcomes in patients with medication-related osteonecrosis of the jaw (MRONJ). The study also aims to collect basic data for proposing a new qualitative classification system for MRONJ.

本研究では、MRONJ患者を対象として、治療前のCT画像所見と治療後の治療成績との関連を後方視的に検討する。CT画像所見として、腐骨分離の有無、骨溶解の範囲、骨膜反応の有無および形態、混合型骨硬化像の有無を評価し、これらの所見とMRONJの治癒および治癒までの期間との関連を解析する。得られた結果を基に、MRONJの新たな質的分類法を提案するための基礎データを収集する。

This study will retrospectively investigate the association between pre-treatment CT imaging findings and treatment outcomes in patients with medication-related osteonecrosis of the jaw (MRONJ). The CT imaging findings to be evaluated will include the presence or absence of sequestrum separation, the extent of osteolysis, the presence and pattern of periosteal reaction, and the presence or absence of mixed-type osteosclerosis. The associations between these imaging findings and MRONJ healing and time to healing will be analyzed. Based on the findings, this study aims to collect basic data for proposing a new qualitative classification system for MRONJ.

・2011年4月1日から2024年3月31日までに長崎大学病院口腔外科を初診した薬剤関連顎骨壊死（MRONJ）患者
・術前にCT画像を撮影した患者

Patients with medication-related osteonecrosis of the jaw (MRONJ) who first visited the Department of Oral Surgery, Nagasaki University Hospital between April 1, 2011 and March 31, 2024.
Patients who underwent pre-treatment CT imaging.

除外基準/Key exclusion criteria

・術後3か月未満で追跡不能となった患者
