本研究は、Pep Upアンケートと診療報酬明細書（以下、レセプトデータ）と健康診断データを用いて、更年期障害に処方される漢方薬の症状別有効率を調査し、各処方がどの症状に有用かを明らかにすることを目的とする。

This study aims to investigate the symptom specific efficacy rates of Kampo medicines prescribed for menopausal disorders using data from Pep Up questionnaires, medical claim records ,hereinafter referred to as receipt data, and health checkups and to clarify which symptoms each prescription effectively addresses.

選択基準/Key inclusion criteria

2026年10月1日～2026年12月31日の期間に健康保険組合への在籍がある者。
Pep Upアンケートで過去6か月以内に更年期症状「有」と回答。
過去6か月以内のレセプトデータで更年期症状を伴う疾患の診断があり、かつ同一レセプト内において漢方薬、HRT、向精神薬のいずれかの処方がある。

Individuals who are members of a health insurance association during the period from October 1, 2026, to December 31, 2026.
Individuals who indicated that they had experienced menopausal symptoms within the past six months in the Pep Up questionnaire.
Individuals with a diagnosis of a condition associated with menopausal symptoms in medical claim data from the past six months, and who were prescribed Kampo medicine, HRT, or psychotropic medication within the same claim.

除外基準/Key exclusion criteria

研究計画書に適合した対象集団として、以下の集団を設定する。
過去6か月以内のレセプトデータで漢方薬、HRT、向精神薬のうち2剤以上の処方がある。ただし、HRTについては同一カテゴリ内での2剤以上の処方は許容し、向精神薬については催眠鎮静薬、抗不安薬、抗うつ薬および気分安定薬の各薬効群内における2剤以上の処方は許容する。

The following groups are defined as the target populations in accordance with the research proposal.
Prescriptions for two or more agents from the categories of Kampo medicines, HRT, and psychotropic drugs are present in medical claim data from the past six months. However, for HRT, the prescription of two or more agents within the same category is permitted; for psychotropic drugs, the prescription of two or more agents within the respective therapeutic classes of hypnotics/sedatives, anxiolytics, antidepressants, and mood stabilizers is permitted.
