本研究の目的は、複数の温度刺激によって生じる主観的体験について、刺激対間の温度感覚および熱的快適性の非類似度評定から、それぞれの関係構造を推定・可視化する実験手法を開発することである。併せて、再測定および刺激提示順序の異なる条件間で得られる構造を比較し、本手法の再現性と提示順序の影響を検討する。

The purpose of this study is to develop an experimental method for estimating and visualizing the relational structures of thermal sensation and thermal comfort based on perceived-dissimilarity ratings between pairs of thermal stimuli. The study will also examine the test-retest reproducibility of the method and the influence of stimulus presentation order.

各温度刺激対の提示直後に評価する、温度感覚および熱的快適性の非類似度評定値（0＝全く一緒、7＝全く違う、8段階）。各実験セッションの評定値から、温度感覚および熱的快適性それぞれの非類似度行列を作成し、多次元尺度構成法（MDS）による関係構造を算出する。

Dissimilarity ratings for thermal sensation and thermal comfort between each pair of thermal stimuli, assessed immediately after each pair presentation on an 8-point scale from 0 (completely the same) to 7 (completely different). Dissimilarity matrices and multidimensional scaling (MDS) configurations will be derived separately for thermal sensation and thermal comfort for each experimental session.

まず、温度感覚閾値を測定する。その後、左右前腕に10～50℃（5℃刻み）の9種類の温度刺激を組み合わせ、1秒間同時に提示する。1セッションでは、81通りの組合せに重複刺激8回を加え、計89回提示する。各提示直後、左右の刺激が温度感覚および熱的快適性の点でどの程度異なるかを、0（全く一緒）から7（全く違う）の8段階で評価する。次の刺激提示まで10秒間の間隔を設ける。初回測定、同一の刺激条件および提示順序による再測定1回、提示順序を変更した測定2回の計4セッションを、各セッションの間隔を3日以上空けて実施する。

Thermal sensory thresholds will first be measured. Paired thermal stimuli consisting of nine temperatures from 10 to 50 degrees Celsius in 5-degree increments will then be simultaneously applied to the bilateral forearms for 1 second. In each session, a total of 89 paired presentations will be administered: all 81 combinations plus 8 repeated pairs. Immediately after each presentation, participants will rate how different the two stimuli feel in terms of thermal sensation and thermal comfort on an 8-point scale from 0 (completely the same) to 7 (completely different). A 10-second interval will be provided before the next stimulus presentation. Four sessions will be conducted at intervals of at least 3 days: an initial session, one retest using the same stimulus conditions and presentation order, and two sessions using different presentation orders.

1）18歳以上35歳以下の、新潟医療福祉大学に所属する健常な大学生または大学院生。
2）研究の目的および内容について十分な説明を受け、その内容を理解した上で、本人の自由意思により文書で研究参加への同意が得られる者。
3）別日に実施する計4回の測定に参加可能な者。

1. Healthy undergraduate or graduate students enrolled at Niigata University of Health and Welfare, aged 18 to 35 years.
2. Individuals who have received and understood a sufficient explanation of the purpose and procedures of the study and have voluntarily provided written informed consent.
3. Individuals who are able to participate in all four measurement sessions conducted on separate days.

除外基準/Key exclusion criteria

1）皮膚疾患または神経疾患の既往歴もしくは現症を有する者。
2）慢性疼痛または感覚異常を有する者。
3）日常的に薬品を服用している者。
4）喫煙歴を有する者。
5）測定当日に発熱、飲酒、服薬その他の体調不良があり、研究参加に支障を来す可能性がある者。
6）その他、研究責任者が研究参加に不適当と判断した者。

1. Individuals with a history or current diagnosis of a skin or neurological disorder.
2. Individuals with chronic pain or sensory abnormalities.
3. Individuals who regularly use medication.
4. Individuals with a history of smoking.
5. Individuals with fever, alcohol consumption, medication use, or any other health condition on the day of measurement that may interfere with study participation.
6. Individuals otherwise judged by the principal investigator to be unsuitable for participation.
