本研究は、腹膜透析患者を対象として、研究対象製品MA-Tを用いた出口部ケアによる腹膜透析関連感染症予防の有用性、安全性および実施可能性を前向きに評価することを目的とする。

The objective of this study is to prospectively evaluate the efficacy, safety, and feasibility of exit-site care using the investigational product MA-T for the prevention of peritoneal dialysis-related infections in patients undergoing peritoneal dialysis.

新規出口部ケア群では、従来使用している消毒薬から研究対象製品MA-Tに切り替え、腹膜透析カテーテル出口部ケアを原則1日1回、12か月間実施する。出口部を洗浄・乾燥後、研究対象製品MA-Tを出口部に3プッシュ（3～5 mL）噴霧し、乾燥を待たずに清潔ガーゼで被覆する。さらに、腹膜透析治療開始直前の手洗い後に研究対象製品MA-Tを用いた手指消毒を行い、通常の口腔ケア終了後に口腔内用研究対象製品MA-Tを3プッシュ（0.5～1 mL）噴霧する。これらの介入を12か月間継続する。

In the new exit-site care group, the conventional disinfectant will be replaced with the investigational product MA-T. Peritoneal dialysis catheter exit-site care will be performed once daily for 12 months. After cleansing and drying the exit site, MA-T will be applied to the exit site with three sprays (3-5 mL), followed by gauze coverage without waiting for drying. In addition, hand disinfection using MA-T will be performed after handwashing immediately before peritoneal dialysis treatment, and three sprays (0.5-1 mL) of the oral MA-T formulation will be applied to the oral cavity after routine oral care. These interventions will be continued for 12 months.

当院で通常行っている従来の腹膜透析カテーテル出口部ケアを継続する。その他の腹膜透析治療および通常診療は通常どおり実施する。観察期間は12か月間とする。

Conventional peritoneal dialysis catheter exit-site care routinely performed at Kurume University Hospital will be continued. Other peritoneal dialysis treatment and usual clinical care will be provided as usual. The observation period is 12 months.

選択基準/Key inclusion criteria

日本語
当院で腹膜透析治療を継続しており、腹膜透析導入から90日以上2年以内の患者
臨床的に安定した状態にある患者
90日以上腹膜透析関連感染症を発症していない患者
研究内容について十分な説明を受け、文書による同意が得られた患者
研究期間中、予定された出口部ケアおよび出口部評価を継続可能と判断された患者

Patients who are continuing peritoneal dialysis treatment at Kurume University Hospital and are between 90 days and 2 years after initiation of peritoneal dialysis.
Patients who are in a clinically stable condition.
Patients who have had no peritoneal dialysis-related infection for at least 90 days.
Patients who have received sufficient information about the study and provided written informed consent to participate.
Patients who are considered able to continue the scheduled exit-site care and exit-site assessments during the study period.

除外基準/Key exclusion criteria

登録時に活動性出口部感染を認める患者
登録時に活動性トンネル感染を認める患者
登録時に腹膜炎治療中の患者
出口部皮膚病変等のため規定された出口部ケアを実施することが困難な患者
MA-T使用によりアレルギーまたは皮膚障害の発現が懸念される患者
その他、研究責任者または研究分担者が本研究への参加を不適切と判断した患者

Patients with active exit-site infection at the time of enrollment.
Patients with active tunnel infection at the time of enrollment.
Patients undergoing treatment for peritoneal dialysis-related peritonitis at the time of enrollment.
Patients who are unable to undergo the specified exit-site care because of skin lesions or other conditions at the exit site.
Patients considered at risk of developing allergic reactions or skin disorders associated with the use of MA-T.
Patients considered unsuitable for participation in the study by the principal investigator or other investigators.
