臨床的に経鼻胃管留置が必要と判断された患者に対し、胃管挿入・留置時にMET光ガイドカテーテルシステムを併用する。光ガイドカテーテルを胃管内に挿入し、胃管留置中および留置後に体表側から光源位置を確認する。胃管留置後には通常診療として腹部X線撮影を行い、X線画像で確認した胃管先端位置と光ガイドカテーテルシステムによる位置確認結果を比較する。介入は各胃管留置手技時に実施する。

In patients clinically requiring nasogastric tube placement, the MET Light-Guided Catheter System is used concomitantly during nasogastric tube insertion and placement. The light-guided catheter is inserted into the nasogastric tube, and the position of the light source is assessed transcutaneously during and after tube placement. After tube placement, abdominal radiography is performed as part of standard clinical care, and the tube-tip position confirmed by radiography is compared with the position identified using the light-guided catheter system. The intervention is performed at each nasogastric tube placement procedure.

選択基準/Key inclusion criteria

臨床的に胃管留置が必要と判断された18歳以上の患者のうち、本研究について説明を受け、本人または適切な代諾者から文書による同意が得られた者。

Patients aged 18 years or older who are clinically judged to require nasogastric tube placement and for whom written informed consent is obtained from the patient or an appropriate legally authorized representative.

除外基準/Key exclusion criteria

日本語
本研究への参加について同意が得られなかった患者。
心臓ペースメーカーを使用している患者。
植込み型除細動器（ICD）を使用している患者。

英語
Patients for whom informed consent for participation in the study cannot be obtained.
Patients with a cardiac pacemaker.
Patients with an implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD).
