選択基準/Key inclusion criteria

1．年齢20歳以上の症例。
2．盲腸、上行結腸、肝弯曲部または右側横行結腸の大腸腺癌と診断された症例、または臨床的に大腸腺癌が強く疑われる症例。
3．回盲部切除、右半結腸切除または拡大右半結腸切除を予定し、D2またはD3郭清を伴う根治意図のある原発巣切除が行われる症例。
4．摘出標本を本研究プロトコルに従って病理処理できる症例。

Patients aged 20 years or older.
Patients diagnosed with, or clinically strongly suspected of having, adenocarcinoma of the cecum, ascending colon, hepatic flexure, or right transverse colon.
Patients scheduled to undergo ileocecal resection, right hemicolectomy, or extended right hemicolectomy with D2 or D3 lymph node dissection with curative intent.
Patients whose resected specimens can be processed according to the study protocol.

除外基準/Key exclusion criteria

日本語
1．明らかな姑息切除またはR2切除が予定される症例。
2．緊急手術症例。
3．大腸腺癌以外の腫瘍。
4．遺伝性大腸癌症候群に伴う大腸癌または炎症性腸疾患関連癌。
5．研究登録前または標本処理開始前に、本研究プロトコルによる病理標本処理の実施が不可能と判断された症例。
6．研究責任者または病理診断医が研究登録に不適切と判断した症例。

Patients scheduled to undergo clearly palliative or R2 resection.
Patients undergoing emergency surgery.
Tumors other than colorectal adenocarcinoma.
Colorectal cancer associated with a hereditary colorectal cancer syndrome or inflammatory bowel disease.
Patients whose pathological specimens are considered unsuitable for processing according to the study protocol before enrollment or before initiation of specimen processing.
Patients considered unsuitable for enrollment by the principal investigator or pathologist.

右側結腸癌に対して根治意図のある切除術を受ける適格症例を前向きに連続登録し、切除標本におけるradial marginの病理学的測定成功率を評価する。また、リンパ節検索および病理学的病期診断への影響を、2022年1月1日から2025年12月31日までのhistorical controlと比較する。目標症例数50例は前向き登録症例数であり、historical controlは含まない。

Eligible patients undergoing curative-intent resection for right-sided colon cancer will be consecutively enrolled in this prospective observational study. The success rate of pathological radial margin measurement will be evaluated. The effects on lymph node examination and pathological staging will also be compared with historical controls treated between January 1, 2022 and December 31, 2025. The target sample size of 50 refers to the prospective cohort and does not include the historical controls.
