日本語
当院で診療したPeutz-Jeghers症候群患者の情報及び臨床データを後方視的に収集し、患者背景、悪性腫瘍など併発疾患の有無、臨床経過等を調査する。また、膵病変に関して良悪性問わず情報を収集し、発症時期、サーベイランスの状況、予後や治療の有無等の臨床経過並びに検体検査や画像検査・病理組織学的検査等の検査データを調査し、実臨床に則した臨床的特徴を明らかにする。

This study will retrospectively collect clinical information and data on patients with Peutz-Jeghers syndrome who have received medical care at our institution. Patient characteristics, the presence or absence of concomitant conditions, including malignant neoplasms, and clinical courses will be investigated.

With regard to pancreatic lesions, data will be collected irrespective of whether the lesions are benign or malignant. The timing of lesion development or diagnosis, surveillance status, prognosis, treatment history, and other aspects of the clinical course will be assessed, together with laboratory, imaging, and histopathological findings. The aim of this study is to characterize the clinical features of pancreatic lesions in patients with Peutz-Jeghers syndrome based on data obtained in real-world clinical practice.

膵病変に関する臨床所見（膵病変の診断病名、膵病変の診断年月、膵癌家族歴、膵臓に関する検体検査、超音波・放射線・内視鏡検査所見並びに病理組織学的所見、膵病変に関する経過観察の間隔並びにそのモダリティと所見の経時的変化、治療が行われた場合治療内容並びに転帰）

Clinical findings related to pancreatic lesions, including the diagnosis and date of diagnosis of pancreatic lesions; family history of pancreatic cancer; results of laboratory tests related to pancreatic disease; findings from ultrasonographic, radiological, and endoscopic examinations; histopathological findings; surveillance intervals and modalities for pancreatic lesions; longitudinal changes in clinical and imaging findings; and, where treatment was administered, treatment details and clinical outcomes.

Age; sex; family history of Peutz-Jeghers syndrome; date of diagnosis of Peutz-Jeghers syndrome; duration of follow-up at our institution; serum carbohydrate antigen 19-9 levels; history of malignant neoplasms, irrespective of the organ of origin; age at diagnosis of each malignant neoplasm; and treatments administered for malignant neoplasms.

　本学附属病院で2006年5月1日から臨床研究等許可決定日までに診療を行なったPeutz-Jeghers症候群患者に対し、検討項目となる臨床情報を別紙の調査票（データシート）を用いて後ろ向きに収集する。また、本研究を行っている旨を本学附属病院臨床研究センターホームページに掲載する。実臨床においてSTK11遺伝子バリアントが測定されカルテ上に記載されている症例については、その結果も臨床情報の一つとして収集する。家系内同病者の有無に関わらず、Peutz-Jeghers症候群に関する臨床病理学的情報を収集する。膵病変に対する外科手術や化学療法が他機関で施行された場合、治療経過や検査結果に関する情報、組織標本(プレパラート)を該当機関より提供いただき評価する。提供いただく標本に未染プレパラートは含まない。当院を既に受診しておらず転帰が不明な患者の経過については、電話や受診機関に問い合わせることで可能な限り情報を収集する。尚、他機関が行うことは既存試料・情報の提供のみであり、統計解析等の具体的な研究への関与はない。

Clinical information relevant to the study will be retrospectively collected using the case report form (data sheet) provided in the Appendix for patients with Peutz-Jeghers syndrome who received medical care at Jichi Medical University Hospital between May 1, 2006, and the date of approval of this clinical research study.

Information regarding the conduct of this study will be posted on the website of the Center for Clinical Investigation, Jichi Medical University Hospital. For patients who underwent testing for STK11 genetic variants as part of clinical care and whose results are documented in the medical records, the results will also be collected as part of the clinical information. Clinicopathological information related to Peutz-Jeghers syndrome will be collected irrespective of whether other affected individuals are present within the patient's family.

When surgery or chemotherapy for pancreatic lesions has been performed at another institution, information regarding the treatment course and examination results, as well as histopathological slides, will be obtained from the relevant institution and evaluated. The materials provided will not include unstained slides.

For patients who are no longer receiving care at our hospital and whose outcomes are unknown, every reasonable effort will be made to obtain follow-up information by telephone or by contacting the medical institutions currently or previously involved in their care.

The role of the other institutions will be limited to the provision of existing specimens and information. They will not otherwise participate in the conduct of the study, including the statistical analysis.
