健常成人を対象として、エリスリトールパウダーエアーポリッシング（EPAP）と従来のラバーカップポリッシング（RC）による歯肉縁上プラーク除去について、治療時間および患者報告アウトカム（PROs）をランダム化クロスオーバー臨床試験により比較することを目的とする。主要評価項目は治療時間とする。

To compare treatment time and patient-reported outcomes (PROs) between erythritol powder air-polishing (EPAP) and conventional rubber cup polishing (RC) for supragingival plaque removal in systemically healthy adults using a randomized crossover clinical trial. The primary outcome is treatment time.

エリスリトールパウダーエアーポリッシング（EPAP）を1回実施する。AIRFLOW Prophylaxis Master（EMS, Nyon, Switzerland）およびAIRFLOW PLUSエリスリトールパウダー（平均粒径約14 μm）を用いて全顎の歯肉縁上プラークを除去する。ハンドピース先端を歯面から約3～5 mm離し、約30～60度の角度で連続的に移動させながら処置を行う。開示された歯肉縁上プラークが視認できなくなるまで処置を継続する。各参加者は2週間以上のウォッシュアウト期間後に対照介入を1回受ける。

Erythritol powder air-polishing (EPAP). One treatment session. Supragingival plaque removal of the full dentition using the AIRFLOW Prophylaxis Master (EMS, Nyon, Switzerland) with AIRFLOW PLUS erythritol powder (mean particle size approximately 14 um). The handpiece was positioned approximately 3 to 5 mm from the tooth surface at an angle of approximately 30 to 60 degrees. Treatment was continued until no disclosed supragingival plaque was visually detectable. Each participant received the alternate intervention after a washout period of at least 2 weeks.

ラバーカップポリッシング（RC）を1回実施する。低速ハンドピースに装着したラバーカップおよびプロフィラキシスペースト（RDA250）を用いて全顎の歯肉縁上プラークを除去する。ラバーカップが到達しにくい隣接面はプロフィラキシスポイントを用いて清掃する。開示された歯肉縁上プラークが視認できなくなるまで処置を継続する。各参加者は2週間以上のウォッシュアウト期間後に対照介入を1回受ける。

Rubber cup polishing (RC). One treatment session. Supragingival plaque removal of the full dentition was performed using a rubber prophylaxis cup attached to a low speed handpiece operating at approximately 1000 to 2000 rpm with prophylaxis paste (RDA 250). Interproximal surfaces inaccessible to the rubber cup were cleaned using a prophylaxis point. Treatment was continued until no disclosed supragingival plaque was visually detectable. Each participant received the alternate intervention after a washout period of at least 2 weeks.

2. 天然歯を24歯以上有する者
3. プロービングポケット深さ5 mm以上の部位を有しない者
4. 臨床的アタッチメントロスを認めない者
5. 文書によるインフォームド・コンセントが得られた者

登録参加者21名（男性10名、女性11名）。平均年齢33.29±8.47歳。平均プロービングデプス2.31±0.23 mm、平均BOP18.31±11.90%。

Twenty one participants were enrolled. There were 10 males and 11 females. Mean age was 33.29 plus or minus 8.47 years. Mean probing depth was 2.31 plus or minus 0.23 mm. Mean bleeding on probing was 18.31 plus or minus 11.90 percent.
