高濃度アゼライン酸誘導体含有フェイスマスクを用いたショートコンタクトセラピーを標準治療に上乗せすることで、尋常性ざ瘡の改善効果がどの程度得られるかを検討するとともに、その安全性を評価することを目的とする。

高濃度アゼライン酸誘導体含有フェイスマスク貼付側と非貼付側における炎症性皮疹数、非炎症性皮疹数および総皮疹数の変化量の比較評価（開始時、2週後、4週後、6週後、8週後および12週後）。

選択基準/Key inclusion criteria
日本語
16歳以上の尋常性ざ瘡患者で、左右の顔面にほぼ同等の皮疹を有し、半顔に炎症性皮疹6個以上および非炎症性皮疹5個以上を有し、保険診療下で標準治療を継続しており、アゼライン酸による治療歴がなく、アゼライン酸に対するアレルギーのない患者。

Patients aged 16 years or older with acne vulgaris who have approximately symmetrical facial lesions, at least six inflammatory lesions and five non-inflammatory lesions on each side of the face, are receiving standard treatment under health insurance coverage, have no history of azelaic acid treatment, and have no known allergy to azelaic acid.
除外基準/Key exclusion criteria

顔面に湿疹、皮膚炎群などの合併症を有する患者、過去3か月以内に他の臨床研究に参加していた患者、重篤な心・腎・肝障害、呼吸器疾患又は循環器疾患などの合併症を有する患者、その他研究責任医師が本研究への参加を不適当と判断した患者。

Patients with facial eczema, dermatitis, or other significant skin disorders; patients who have participated in another clinical study within the previous 3 months; patients with severe cardiac, renal, hepatic, respiratory, or cardiovascular disorders; and patients considered unsuitable for participation by the principal investigator.
