日本語
本研究は、歯周病を検出するAIの精度を探索的に検証するため、画像から歯周病に特徴的な所見を検出できるかをCPIと比較評価するとともに、その結果を基に機械学習モデルを改良し、検出精度の向上を図ることを目的とする。

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the accuracy of an AI system for detecting periodontal disease by comparing it with the Community Periodontal Index (CPI). The results will be used to improve the machine learning model and enhance its detection accuracy.

選択基準/Key inclusion criteria

(1)同意取得時に18才以上の男女
(2)自由意思により本研究への参加に文書で同意した者
(3)上顎右側中切歯または左側中切歯、下顎左側中切歯または右側中切歯を有する者
(4)パノラマX線写真またはデンタル10枚法を有する者
(5)研究実施にあたり最低限の意思疎通の可能な者

1. Male or female participants aged 18 years or older at the time of providing informed consent.
2. Participants who voluntarily provide written informed consent to participate in this study.
3. Participants with at least one maxillary central incisor (right or left) and at least one mandibular central incisor (right or left).
4. Participants with available panoramic radiographs or a full-mouth periapical radiographic series (10 periapical radiographs).
5. Participants who are able to communicate sufficiently to participate in the study procedures.

除外基準/Key exclusion criteria

(1)口腔粘膜疾患を有する者
(2)アングルワイダーを装着できない患者
(3)その他、研究責任医師または研究分担医師が試験参加を困難と判断した者

1. Participants with oral mucosal diseases.
2. Participants who are unable to wear an angle wider.
3. Participants who are considered unsuitable for participation in the study by the Principal Investigator or a Sub-investigator.
