選択基準/Key inclusion criteria

食道癌 および食道胃接合部癌の診断がなされている者
同意取得時において，20歳以上の者
術前において独力での歩行が可能である者
待機手術によって食道切除術が予定される者

Patients diagnosed with esophageal cancer or esophagogastric junction cancer
Patients aged 20 years or older at the time of informed consent
Patients able to walk independently preoperatively
Patients scheduled to undergo elective esophagectomy
除外基準/Key exclusion criteria
日本語
術後3週以内に再手術を行った者
6MWTに影響を及ぼす可能性のある併存疾患を持つ者（例：疼痛、バランス能力低下など、歩行障害を引き起こす可能性のある筋骨格系または神経系の疾患）
視覚・聴覚障害や認知機能低下によってQLQ-C30の質問項目が理解できない者
術前と術後3週における6MWDおよびQLQ-C30 PFスコアのデータが欠損している者

Patients who underwent reoperation within 3 weeks after surgery
Patients with comorbidities that could affect the 6-minute walk test (6MWT) (e.g., musculoskeletal or neurological disorders causing gait impairment, such as pain or impaired balance ability)
Patients unable to understand the QLQ-C30 questionnaire due to visual or hearing impairment, or cognitive dysfunction
Patients with missing data for the 6-minute walk distance and QLQ-C30 physical functioning score at both preoperative assessment and 3 weeks postoperatively

2018年4月から2026年2月までに食道癌または食道胃接合部癌に対して食道切除術を行った患者を対象として，6MWD，QLQ-C30 PFスコア，対象者特性，手術情報，術後合併症に関する情報を電子カルテから収集する。

Data on the six-minute walk distance (6MWD), QLQ-C30 physical functioning (PF) score, patient characteristics, surgical information, and postoperative complications will be collected from electronic medical records of patients who underwent esophagectomy for esophageal cancer or esophagogastric junction cancer between April 2018 and February 2026.
