目的1/Narrative objectives1

日本語
急性動脈閉塞症に対する外科的血栓摘除と機械式血栓吸引療法の安全性および有効性を比較検討する。特に、治療後30日死亡率や下肢大切断率が外科的血栓摘除と比して非劣性であることを示す。また、急性動脈閉塞症に対する最適な治療法を決定するためのリスクカリキュレーターの確立も試みる。

This study aims to compare the safety and efficacy of surgical thrombectomy and mechanical aspiration thrombectomy for acute limb ischemia. In particular, we will evaluate whether 30-day mortality and major lower extremity amputation rates after mechanical aspiration thrombectomy are non-inferior to those after surgical thrombectomy. We will also attempt to develop a risk calculator to help determine the optimal treatment strategy for acute limb ischemia.

選択基準/Key inclusion criteria

以下の基準をすべて満たす患者を対象とする。
1. 2024年1月1日から2024年12月31日までに、大動脈以下末梢動脈の急性動脈閉塞に対し治療が行われNCDに登録された症例
2. 外科的血栓摘除術または機械式血栓吸引療法（Indigo system）による治療を受けた症例
3. 年齢：不問
4. 性別：不問

英語
Patients who meet all of the following criteria will be included:
Patients who underwent treatment for acute arterial occlusion of the peripheral arteries distal to the aorta between January 1, 2024, and December 31, 2024, and were registered in the National Clinical Database (NCD).
Patients who underwent surgical thrombectomy or mechanical aspiration thrombectomy using the Indigo System.
Age: no restriction.
Sex: no restriction.
