本研究は、大学男子サッカー選手を対象として、試合および練習時に生じる頭部・身体衝撃を定量化し、映像解析により頭部衝撃リスクとなるプレー特性を明らかにすることを目的とする。あわせて、眼球運動機能を試合・練習後から経時的に評価し、衝撃暴露量との関連を検討することで、サッカー競技における頭部衝撃の実態把握と予防に向けた示唆を得ることを目的とする。

This study aims to quantify head and body impacts during matches and training in male collegiate soccer players and to identify play characteristics associated with head impact risk through video analysis. Furthermore, by evaluating ocular motor function over time after matches and training and examining its association with impact exposure, this study aims to clarify the nature of head impacts in soccer and provide insights for prevention.

選択基準/Key inclusion criteria

1. 大学サッカー部に所属する男子選手である者
2. 研究の説明を受け、本人の文書同意が得られた者
3. 測定期間中の通常の練習および試合に参加予定である者
4. 測定前3か月以内に頭部外傷の既往がない者
5. 眼球運動機能評価に支障を来す眼科系疾患を有していない者

1. Male soccer players belonging to a university soccer team
2. Individuals who have received an explanation of the study and provided written informed consent
3. Individuals who are scheduled to participate in regular training sessions and matches during the measurement period
4. Individuals with no history of head injury within 3 months prior to enrollment
5. Individuals with no ophthalmologic disease that may interfere with ocular motor function assessment

除外基準/Key exclusion criteria

日本語
1. 測定期間中に外傷・障害等により競技活動を中断または離脱した者
2. 測定期間中に新たに頭部外傷を受傷した者
3. その他、研究責任者が不適当と判断した者

1. Individuals who discontinue or withdraw from sports participation during the measurement period because of injury or other health-related problems
2. Individuals who sustain a new head injury during the measurement period
3. Individuals otherwise judged by the principal investigator to be unsuitable for participation in this study

本研究は大学男子サッカー選手を対象とした前向き観察研究である。対象者には試合および練習中にマウスガード型加速度センサーを装着し、頭部加速度曝露量を測定する。また、試合・練習後から経時的に眼球運動機能を評価する。解析においては、測定された頭部加速度曝露量に基づき対象者を高曝露群および低曝露群に事後的に分類し、眼球運動機能の推移を比較する。

This study is a prospective observational study in male collegiate soccer players. Participants will wear a mouthguard-based accelerometer during training sessions and matches to measure head impact acceleration exposure. Ocular motor function will also be assessed longitudinally after training and matches. In the analysis, participants will be classified post hoc into higher- and lower-exposure groups based on measured head impact exposure, and longitudinal changes in ocular motor function will be compared.
