ICUに入室した気管挿管患者を対象に、要時生成型亜塩素酸イオン水溶液（MA-T）を用いた口腔ケアが、従来の口腔ケアと比較して、人工呼吸器関連肺炎（VAP）の発生率を低減するかを検討する。

従来の口腔ケアキットのマウスウォッシュ（6ml）およびマウスペースト（2g）を使用したブラッシングによる口腔ケアを実施する。

従来のマウスウォッシュの代わりにMA-T洗口液（6ml）、マウスペーストの代わりにMA-T口腔用ジェル（2g）を使用したブラッシングによる口腔ケアを実施する。

気管挿管し人工呼吸器を装着している者

Patients intubated and receiving mechanical ventilation
除外基準/Key exclusion criteria
日本語
気管挿管から48時間以内に抜管した患者
口腔または顔面に外傷のある患者
易出血状態や口腔内潰瘍等の理由により頻回な口腔ケアが口腔内出血を助長するリスクのある患者
自身で口腔ケアを実施できる患者
入院時の主病名が肺炎の患者

Patients extubated within 48 hours of intubation
Patients with oral or facial trauma
Patients at risk of oral bleeding due to coagulopathy, oral ulcers, or other conditions that may be exacerbated by frequent oral care
Patients capable of performing oral care independently
Patients with pneumonia as the primary diagnosis at admission
