介入群に対しては、以下を実施する。
1. 通常の対面での口腔衛生指導（開始0週）
2. 口腔衛生指導の内容を記載したテキストメッセージをモバイル端末宛に送信（開始0週から4週後まで、2日に1回の頻度で計12通）

For the test group, the following interventions will be delivered.
I. Usual in-person oral hygiene instruction at baseline
II. Text messages for providing oral hygiene instruction will be sent to the mobile phone (a total of 12 messages will be sent every other day between baseline and 4 weeks of follow-up)

2. 無歯顎の者
3. テキストメッセージを受信するためのモバイル端末を保有していない者
4. 聴覚障害、精神的問題によりコミュニケーションが取れない者
5. 認知機能に問題があると認められた者

III. Subjects who do not have any mobile phones to receive the text messages
IV. Subjects unable to communicate due to hearing impairment or mental health issues
V. Subjects found to have cognitive impairment

本研究は予備試験と本試験で構成されている。予備試験の主要アウトカム評価項目の結果を元に必要最低サンプルサイズを計算し、本試験の目標被験者数を最終的に決定する。
