本研究の目的は、バレーボール選手における関節機能、動作、パフォーマンス指標、および質問紙票による評価と競技関連障害との関連を明らかにし、障害予防戦略の構築に資する知見を得ることである。

The purpose of this study is to clarify the associations between joint function, movement patterns, performance indicators, questionnaire-based assessments, and volleyball-related injuries in volleyball players, and to obtain findings that will contribute to the development of injury prevention strategies.

本研究の詳細な目的は、ベースライン時に横断的に評価した関節機能、動作、パフォーマンス指標、および質問紙票による評価の特徴を明らかにするとともに、これらの指標が前向き追跡期間中のバレーボール競技関連筋骨格系障害の発生および障害報告率と関連するかを検討し、障害予防に有用な因子を探索することである。

The detailed objective of this study is to clarify the baseline cross-sectional characteristics of joint function, movement patterns, performance indicators, and questionnaire-based assessments, and to examine whether these variables are associated with the occurrence of volleyball-related musculoskeletal injuries and the injury reporting rate during the prospective follow-up period, in order to explore factors useful for injury prevention.

選択基準/Key inclusion criteria
日本語
高校のバレーボール部に所属し、日常的に競技活動を行っている選手。ベースライン評価に参加可能であり、追跡期間中の障害調査に協力できる者。研究参加について本人から文書による同意が得られ、未成年者については代諾者からも文書による同意が得られた者。

Players who belong to a high school volleyball team and regularly participate in volleyball activities; are able to undergo the baseline assessment and cooperate with injury surveillance during the follow-up period; and provide written informed consent, with additional written consent from a legal guardian for minors.
除外基準/Key exclusion criteria

以下のいずれかに該当する者は除外する。
・ベースライン評価時点で、バレーボール競技参加を制限する急性外傷または重度の筋骨格系障害を有する者。
・上肢、体幹、または下肢の手術歴や神経学的疾患等により、関節機能、動作、またはパフォーマンス評価に影響を及ぼす可能性があると研究責任者が判断した者。
・ベースライン評価を完遂できない者。
・追跡期間中の障害調査への協力が困難と判断される者。
・研究参加について本人または代諾者の文書同意が得られない者。

Participants meeting any of the following criteria will be excluded:
- Players who have an acute injury or severe musculoskeletal condition at baseline that restricts participation in volleyball.
- Players with a history of surgery involving the upper extremity, trunk, or lower extremity, or with neurological disorders or other conditions that may affect the assessment of joint function, movement, or performance, as judged by the principal investigator.
- Players who are unable to complete the baseline assessment.
- Players who are considered unlikely to cooperate with injury surveillance during the follow-up period.
- Players from whom written informed consent cannot be obtained from the participant or, for minors, from a legal guardian.

本研究は、ベースライン時の横断的評価と前向き追跡調査を組み合わせた観察研究である。ベースラインでは、バレーボール選手を対象に、関節機能、動作、パフォーマンス指標、および質問紙票による評価を実施する。その後、追跡期間中に発生したバレーボール競技関連筋骨格系障害の発生および障害報告率を調査し、ベースライン時の各評価項目との関連を検討する。

This study is an observational study combining a baseline cross-sectional assessment with prospective follow-up. At baseline, volleyball players will undergo assessments of joint function, movement patterns, performance indicators, and questionnaire-based measures. During the follow-up period, the occurrence of volleyball-related musculoskeletal injuries and the injury reporting rate will be recorded, and their associations with baseline variables will be examined.
