日本語
本パイロットスタディでは、従来型動画およびAIアバター動画を用いた退院前指導を実際の臨床場面で運用し、その実施可能性（feasibility）を検証するとともに、理解度・満足度・受容性などの主観的評価尺度の回答率・分布・回答負担を確認し、評価手法としての妥当性を検討する。また、一部の対象者に対しては簡易脳波計感性アナライザ-を用いた生体反応データの取得を試行し、客観的指標として活用可能かを探索する。さらに、主要評価項目の平均値・標準偏差などの基礎データを収集し、後続のランダム化比較試験におけるサンプルサイズ設計に必要なパラメータを得ることを目的とする。

This pilot study aims to implement pre-discharge education using conventional videos and AI avatar videos in real clinical settings and examine their feasibility. In addition, the study will assess the validity of subjective evaluation measures by examining response rates, score distributions, and response burden for items such as understanding, satisfaction, and acceptance. For a subset of participants, physiological response data will be collected using a simplified EEG device (Kansei Analyzer) to explore its potential utility as an objective indicator. Furthermore, the study will collect basic data such as means and standard deviations of key outcome measures to obtain parameters necessary for sample size calculation in the subsequent randomized controlled trial.

選択基準/Key inclusion criteria

日本語
・消化器外科または消化器内科の患者で、退院時に消化器系のドレーンまたはカテーテルが留置されている患者
・年齢制限はなし
・日本語による説明を理解できる患者
・認知機能評価において、認知症または重度の認知機能障害が認められない患者
（75歳以上にはOLDを実施し、必要に応じてMMSEを行う）
・過去にドレーンまたはカテーテルの留置経験がない患者

- Patients in the Department of Gastrointestinal Surgery or Gastroenterology who have a gastrointestinal drain or catheter in place at the time of discharge
- No age restrictions
- Patients who can understand explanations provided in Japanese
- Patients without dementia or severe cognitive impairment based on cognitive function assessment
(For patients aged 75 years or older, the OLD will be administered, and the MMSE will be performed as needed)
- Patients with no prior experience of having a drain or catheter placed

除外基準/Key exclusion criteria

日本語
・退院時に消化器系のドレーンまたはカテーテルが留置されていない患者
・認知症または重度の認知機能障害が疑われる患者
・75歳以上を対象に初期認知症徴候観察リスト（OLD）を実施し12項目中4項目以上に該当し、追加で実施する MMSE において 23 点以下である場合
・視覚または聴覚障害により、動画視聴や説明内容の理解が困難な患者
・緊急退院などの理由により、十分な指導時間が確保できない患者
・過去にドレーンまたはカテーテルの留置経験があり、自己管理方法を既に理解している可能性がある患者

- Patients suspected of having dementia or severe cognitive impairment
- Patients aged 75 years or older who score 4 or more out of 12 items on the OLD, and additionally score 23 or lower on the MMSE
- Patients with visual or hearing impairments that make it difficult to watch videos or understand explanations
- Patients for whom sufficient time for instruction cannot be secured due to reasons such as urgent discharge
- Patients who have previous experience with a drain or catheter and may already understand self-management methods
