本研究では健常成人のPIP関節伸展運動時の虫様筋の特性について筋電図学的に骨間筋と比較することにより検証する．

In this study, we examine the characteristics of the lumbrical muscle during PIP joint extension in healthy adults by comparing it electromyographically with the interosseous muscle.

手指伸展機構の理解や日常生活上での手指の繊細な動きの指導などリハビリテーションの場において重要な知見となる．虫様筋はMP関節内転・外転運動に影響されずPIPおよびDIP関節の伸展に機能するという仮説を立て，PIP関節伸展運動時の虫様筋の特性について筋電図学的に骨間筋と比較することにより検証する．

This will be important knowledge in the field of rehabilitation, such as understanding the mechanism of finger extension and teaching delicate finger movements in daily life. We hypothesize that the lumbrical muscle functions in extending the PIP and DIP joints without being affected by MP joint adduction and abduction movements, and will verify the characteristics of the lumbrical muscle during PIP joint extension movements by comparing them electromyographically with the interosseous muscles.
