本研究の目的は, 教育介入前後で各学生のSRLのスキルの自己評価を比較し, 臨床実習前の医学生の臨床推論教育におけるTBLの長所を調査することである. さらに, TBLのどのような要素が, 医学生のSRLのスキルを向上させるのかについて医学生の認知プロセスの観点から検証する.

The purpose of this study is to compare students' self-assessments of their SRL skills before and after an educational intervention and to investigate the strengths of TBL in clinical reasoning education for medical students prior to clinical practice. Furthermore, it examines which elements of TBL enhance medical students' SRL skills from the perspective of their cognitive processes.

1. Quantitative study
TBLが臨床実習前の医学生のSRLのスキルに及ぼす効果を調査するために, アンケートを用いた横断研究を実施した. 本研究の量的データでは, TBLによる教育介入前後でのアンケートによるSRLのスキルに関する自己評価を検証した.

2. Qualitative study
量的評価に続いて, TBLが医学生のSRLのスキルに及ぼす効果を医学生の認知プロセスの観点から検証するために質的評価を実施した. 質的データでは, 自由記載式の質問紙調査を実施し, 内容分析を用いてTBLのどのような要素が, 医学生のSRLのスキルを向上させるのかについて検証した.

1. Quantitative study
To investigate the effect of TBL on medical students' SRL skills prior to clinical practice, a cross-sectional study using questionnaires was conducted. The quantitative data in this study examined self-assessments of SRL skills via questionnaires before and after the TBL educational intervention.

2. Qualitative study
Following the quantitative evaluation, a qualitative evaluation was conducted to examine the effect of TBL on medical students' SRL skills from the perspective of their cognitive processes. For the qualitative data, an open-ended questionnaire survey was administered, and content analysis was used to examine which elements of TBL enhance medical students' SRL skills.
