主な結果/Results

社会人アメリカンフットボール選手のIncidenceは6.45件/1, 000AH であり、Injury burdenは121.07日･件/1,000AHであった。活動区分別では、練習時では発生件数が多いが、IncidenceやInjury burden は試合時で高値を示した。スポーツ外傷･障害の部位別においてIncidence やInjury burden が最も高値を示したのは大腿部であり、特定の傷病名別では大腿部肉ばなれ/筋断裂であった。外傷･障害の発生件数は準備期である3月と8月で多かった。外傷･障害の発生しやすいポジションは守備選手であることが示唆された。

対象は、社会人アメリカンフットボールチームAに2014年2月-11月までに所属していた選手61名（年齢28.2±5.6歳、身長178.3±6.7cm、体重88.3±17.6kg）とした。組み入れ基準として、記録対象となる選手を秋に行われる公式戦にメンバー登録されている者とし、登録されなかったメンバーやシーズン中に退部した選手については記録から除外した。

　Participants were 61 players: age 28.2(5.6) years, height 178.3 (6.7) cm, weight 88.3(17.6) kg from Adult American Football Team A between February and November 2014. Players registered for the official games in the autumn season were included, while those not registered or who left the team during the season were excluded.

参加者の流れ/Participant flow

　2014年の2月から11月までにチームに所属していた選手を対象に外傷･障害の記録が行われた。その記録もとに調査した。外傷･障害の記録は、調査期間中にアメリカンフットボールの練習および試合で発生したものを毎回の活動時に記録されたものであった。対象となったスポーツ外傷･障害を記録は、チームドクターおよびトレーナーの診断・評価を受けたのち先行研究に準じて行った。受傷者数(名)、スポーツ外傷･障害の部位および種類(傷病名)別の発生件数(件)を集計し、重症度(日)、Athlete-hour(以下、AH)、Incidence(件/1, 000AH)、Injury burden(日･件/1,000AH)を算出した。

　Records of injuries and injuries were collected from players who belonged to the team between February and November 2014. This study was based on these records. Records of injuries and injuries that occurred during American football practice and games during the study period were recorded at each activity. Records of the sports injuries and injuries were conducted in accordance with previous studies after diagnosis and evaluation by the team doctor and trainer. The number of injured players and the number of sports injuries and injuries by location and type (name of injury) were tallied, and severity (days), athlete-hours (hereinafter referred to as AH), incidence (incidents/1,000 AH), and injury burden (days and incidents/1,000 AH) were calculated.

　Incidenceを求める際に必要となるAHは、チームの活動回数や活動時間をもとに参加した選手を乗じて算出した。スポーツ外傷･障害の発生件数を、AHで除した値を1000倍し、活動時間1, 000時間あたりのIncidence(件/1, 000AH)を算出した。また、スポーツ外傷･障害の部位および種類(傷病名)別にそれぞれの競技離脱期間からその平均値および95%信頼区間(95% confidence interval：以下、95%CI)を算出し、そのスポーツ外傷･障害の重症度(日)とした。Incidence(件/1, 000AH)と重症度の積をInjury burden(日･件/1,000AH)として算出した。

　The AH required to calculate the incidence was calculated by multiplying the number of team activities and activity time by the number of players who participated. The number of sports injuries and disorders was divided by AH and multiplied by 1,000 to calculate the incidence per 1,000 hours of activity time (cases/1,000AH). Additionally, the mean and 95% confidence interval (95% CI) of the duration of absence from competition for each location and type (name of injury) of sports injuries and disorders was calculated to determine the severity (days) of the sports injuries and disorders. The product of the incidence (cases/1,000AH) and severity was calculated as the injury burden (days/cases/1,000AH).
