選択基準/Key inclusion criteria

対象
・藤田医科大学病院またはRICメンタルクリニック 三軒茶屋院またはRICメンタルクリニック あざみ野院 を受診中の独居で20歳以上から60歳のうつ病と診断された方。
・同意時点で、過去2年間以上にわたって電気契約者本人であること。
・同意時点で、過去2年間以上にわたって２年間独居の方。
・同意時点で、過去2年間以上にわたって２年間転居のない方。
選択基準
・本研究の目的・方法について十分な説明を受け、内容を理解した上で、 本人の自由意思により研究参加と電管協同意書提出の文書同意が得られた方
・同意取得時点で20歳以上から60歳の方
・３か月以内にうつ病と診断された方
・同意時点で、過去2年間以上にわたってスマートメーターが設置された住宅に居住していた方
・研究協力に支障をきたすような重大な認知機能障害が認められない方

Participants
Individuals diagnosed with depression who are currently receiving treatment at Fujita Health University Hospital, RIC Mental Clinic Sangenjaya, or RIC Mental Clinic Azamino, living alone, and aged between 20 and 60 years.
At the time of consent, individuals who have been the registered electricity contract holders for at least the past two years.
At the time of consent, individuals who have been living alone for at least the past two years.
At the time of consent, individuals who have not changed residence for at least the past two years.

Inclusion Criteria
Individuals who have received a full explanation of the study's purpose and methods, understood the content, and provided written informed consent to participate and to allow access to their electricity usage data.
Individuals aged between 20 and 60 years at the time of consent.
Individuals diagnosed with depression within the past three months.
Individuals who, at the time of consent, have been living in a residence equipped with a smart meter for at least the past two years.
Individuals without significant cognitive impairments that would interfere with participation in the study.

除外基準/Key exclusion criteria

日本語
・本人による同意取得が困難な場合
・双極性障害、統合失調症と診断された方
・共同生活者（家族等）と同居している方（電力使用パターンの特異性が確保できないため）
・研究期間中（過去2年間）に転居やスマートメーターの取り外しがあった方
・その他、研究責任者または研究分担者が研究対象者として不適切と判断した場合

Individuals unable to provide informed consent by themselves.
Individuals diagnosed with bipolar disorder or schizophrenia.
Individuals living with others (e.g., family members), as unique electricity usage patterns cannot be ensured.
Individuals who have moved residences or had their smart meter removed during the study period (past two years).
Any other cases deemed inappropriate for participation by the principal investigator or co-investigators.

This study is an observational study and represents the first attempt to extract daily behavioral patterns from electricity usage data obtained via smart meters and analyze their association with mental states such as depression.
