The present study investigates whether a brief, passive group psychoeducational intervention, designed after the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) and the information model, could increase intentions to seek psychological counseling (ISPC) for depression and substance use disorders (SUD) among undergraduate students in Lahore, Pakistan.

Eligible participants will be full-time undergraduate students enrolled in private or public universities in Lahore, Pakistan, and who screen positive for either depression or substance use disorder as determined through a screening measure.

除外基準/Key exclusion criteria

Undergraduate university students will be excluded if they have a personal history of consultation with a mental health professional, indicate active suicidal intent or severe depression, are majoring in psychology, or have a physical disability.
